Is it your faith, sometimes so unrelenting and seemingly teasing with its brightness, barely out of reach..., or the shadows you create by the light it casts upon your unwavering stone-like gaze..

A dance of balance. As your shadows follow, so does the light...moving, each anticipating the other. Reflecting.

The light is so brilliant, my eyes close of their own accord. I find solace in shadow.

The light of stars which is my words (hanging over the cosmos) gives me sadness when they become the shadows beneath the stones of sadness. My words are my faith as the stars reflect their light upon the stones while the moon night reflecting its shadows beneath the stones become sad when one star become extinguished… to conclude, my shadow follows the sadness of the dying star. There is a dance of balance here.

((Purr))

The light of the stars and the shadows beneath the stones fill me will curiosity and wonder. Longing for open space to catch a better glimpse of the stars and their secrets is what brings my heart sadness. Discovering unique life in the shadows beneath the stones is a thrilling adventure. I'd like to believe there is a parallel. My faith in intelligent design is as unrelenting as my curiosity. Affirmation, a dance of balance with reflecting light and shadow.

Thank you for all your great questions. This one definately touched me.

Light of stars. 'With much light, comes much shadow' an esoteric-book once stated.

I use to try-and-try to be the nicest, most non-offensive guy on the planet. Little did I realize trial after trial; success after success; I was becoming more and more sad with myself and others.

It wasn't until I aknowledged my dark-side, and gave it voice, without necesarilly acting on it, how unevolved I was spiritually as well as in all other ways. Spiritually, not in any faith/dogma way, but in how I communicate with the world at large and possibly beyond.... yet more importantly how I communicated with myself; or in one concept self-deception.

If we are truly-honest with ourselves, we really don't know weather there is a God or not; we may be able to reason that this faith isn't consistent because of this or that contradiction, therefore isn't likely; but it doesn't rule out the possibility there may be God or god(s) out there eternal or otherwise.

Once we admit this to ourselves, everything takes on the shadows of the stones we've been hiding under. But those same shadows, give rise to the oppurtunity to see the light of our own personal development also. I guess that's the dance you refer to. Or at least my interpretation.

Then do we dare face the next shadow of mortality? What light could possibly be found under the shadow of accepting the possible finality of 'Death'. Still working on this one, but my new dance has become one of Urgency and Enjoyment; rather then the consistent dance of light and shadow. Whatever dance your in, I urge you to enjoy it!!!

What is the light of stars, as nothing but pure and constant, but the shadows we create are irregular and cause confusion. If we were not here, wouldn't the light of the stars remain the same? If so, then what is the point of it being there as for us not to enjoy.
Yes I agree, there is a dance of balance.

That's a lovely image, but I'm trying not to get so caught up in dualities. My sadness is anger turned to frustration. Worries and cares are burdens which gain weight almost every day. So much burdensome baggage is not helpful in lightening the heart or the spirit. The body to gravity and to wear. Some days it feels like everything melts away except the little prison I carry around with me. There is nothing balanced here, though I wish there was.

Wow..well I couldn't have answered my own question better than you did. Can I have your 10 points? (only kidding about the points)

You brought up an interesting way of seeing things (as you normally do). Perhaps every once in a while we do need to invert the picture of reality that we are living in. So that darkness becomes light and light becomes darkness. Only by doing that can we see the whole picture in it's entirety and hopefully find a way in life to make it better.

It's only man-made obstacles that get in my way and make me sad sometimes. Shadows under stones tend to disappear when I pick up the stones. Concerning the light from stars, I have no comment.

You can regret them being out reach or revel in their image shining into your eyes, blazing the night sky afire. Likewise the shadows can speak of dark omens or allow my mind to wander into the intrigue, allow my touch and my intellect to lead the way through the shadow to better understanding. I know the shadows are not the reality, unless I let them become the same.

Peace
