I would go with Stockton and Malone, though Isiah and Laimbeer did win two rings and the other pair none.

I choose the Jazz duo because both of them are all-time great players while Laimbeer was an All-Star in 1 or 2 seasons and that's it.

Also, the Stockton-Malone due toughened each other up to be in shape and have mental toughness to play topnotch basketball for a lot more seasons. Thomas and Laimbeer played good together for around 7 to 8 seasons and it was downhill from there - they were washed up at 32 or 33, while after 7 or 8 seasons in the league, Stockton and Malone were still improving!

Tougher- Stockton and Malone...

Successful- Isiah and Laimbeer.....

Of course it depends on your definition-

Malone and Stockton were tough competitors who did anything in their power to get to the next level and win, while isiah and lambeer were 1/2 tough and 1/2 flash, Isiah was a great competitor but not tough by any sense. Any guy who kisses another guy while playing against each other, loses the tough factor (Magic Johnson and Isiah had a kissing ritual).

So that is my answer!!!

I think the Pistons with Laimbeer and Thomas we're and are a dangerous Combo, as for the Jazz Stcokton and Malone we're good but not entertaining my opinion.

Pistons with 3 NBA Titles 1988-89, 1989-90, 2003-04.

Jazz with 0 NBA Titles

So Laimbeer and Isiah wins this Argument.

what is about the 2003-2004 NBA champions have anything to do with Isiah and Lambeer?
common, The Jazz just unfortunate that they run into the dominate Chicago bulls and they fought greatly in both time. In that time no team can beat this Chicago bulls. On the other hand, Piston is on their best before the best MJ emerge. That Bulls was a lot weaker than the 94-95,95-96 Bulls. Moreover, Piston have Joe Dumars "the real person who shut down young rising MJ", Dennis Rodman, Rick Mahon and a tons of great role player while Jazz have just Hornaceck and other decent role player.

Mailman and Stock is a lot tougher than Isiah and Lambeer

Laimbeer was a cheap-shot artist and Isiah had trouble fighting out of a wet paper bag, but he could talk when hiding behind an enforcer...Malone was tough and would have taught the Bad Boys what it means to bad to the bone....Stockton was a gutsy player and complimented Malone's power inside.

Anyone who doesn't think Isiah Thomas was tough is a complete effing moron. He was a bad little MF.

Still, Stockton and Malone was the better duo.

Stockton and Malone. The Jazz won tons of games with those two. That was the best dynamic duo ever.

Isiah Thomas alone would have taken those two, I mean he would sexually assualt them so hard they wouldn't be able to find the rim.
