I had one one of these but didn't have any luck with it. For some reason, the gecko would not eat. I tried putting it in the feeder cricket cage to get it to eat but it just let the crickets hop around. I even tried buying mealworms and holding them in front of it. I also bought a tube of a nutrition booster and would dab little bits of the gel on the gecko's mouth. Nothing worked. I talked to experts at the pet store I got if from and they couldn't help much. The gecko got thinner and thinner until one morning, my husband found it dead in its terrarium. He then talked to a woman he works with who keeps several of these geckos as pets in her office. She told him that two of hers died this way. She said that sometimes, this sort of thing does happen to leopard geckos even when they are being properly cared for. It has to do with abnormalities in their digestive systems and there's not much you can do about it.

My nephew has one. You need an aquarium of course,a heating pad that sticks to the bottom of the aquarium for warmth and shavings for lining. The lizard will eat live crickets, possibly buy a dozen weekly so they won't die out. If it's like my nephews it won't eat them after they die and keep plenty of water. Good luck
