I am 10 but I am wondering if It is the time I start talking to mom my about girl stuff. I think I am starting puberty. She knows I am beause she bought me a trianer bra once. But I actually just want to talk to her about it. How can I approach her without being worried or nervous?

girl,all moms kno ur gunna have questions she prolly wants to tell u but is just waiting for u to ask her..so just be like hey mom can i asked u somethin and just ask her its seriously no big deal also, i dont kno if u have an older sister or something but i went to mine for that i didnt wanna ask my mom but then againi dont have the best relationshiip with her so good luck

Your mom was a young woman once, and had the same thoughts and fears that you do. I know you may have trouble talking to her, but I cannot imagine she would not talk to you. Do your best, it will be OK.

Don't push growing up...because someday you won't always be a "little girl" you'll be a woman.
So take it as it comes. But wanting to talk about it is perfectly normally, and of course it is awkward, but take her in a private room and ask her the kind of questions you want to. She's your mom, not your dad, or anyone else. It'd be even more awkward if it was someone else so just ask her about. Don't be scared to ask. Especially your mom. =]]

Don't ever be worried or afraid to talk to your mom, that's whats she is there for. She will never steer you wrong and you will get a straight answer from her, she loves you and only wants the best for you.

It is going to be a bit awkward for her too. She has been wondering if and when she should speak with you, so if you openly talk to her, that's a wonderful and MATURE start. It should open the lines of communication for you. Good Luck!
