My husband is in Iraq and is telling me that he has little computer acsses. What he does not know is I see everytime he opens my mail. He checks it everyday and reads my emails but it may take 3-4 days before he gets back to me. Anyone have an opinion why a guy would lie about somthing so stupid?

If that is all that is wrong with your relationship you are in good shape. maybe it is not always convenient for him to get online or maybe he is just one of those people that does not like it.

How long is he on when he checks his E-mail?
He may only have a few minutes and he may want to digest what you have written to him before answering you.
I am sure he misses you and would rather be home, so dont be giving him crap when he is over there putting his life in danger every day, it might be his last day for all either of you know.
He may be sneaking to check his mail, then again his superiors may be checking it FIRST when you THINK he is checking it to make sure vital information is not being transmitted over the net.They DO that.

Maybe because he is guilty of something and thinks you are also up to something. The part about him taking so long to reply would make me suspicious. Just ask him,, If you love each other there should be no secrets and maybe being open with him will make him feel better ,if he has insecure feeling.

He most likely has a lot going on in his mind. He is protecting our country and spends his days in the hot sun. Maybe he feels as if Internet conversation is not his thing, he may want to talk to you on the phone or in person. Most likely he is not cheating on you or something.

He might not have time to answer it right now but he wants to read it. He might not be lying to you. He might only have a little time each day but more time on other days. These might be the days that he answers you.

im thinking he just wants to see what your up to. and to see if you are telling him the truth on the things you tell him. he cant be there with you and he may feel insecure. dont tell him and see how far he takes it. good luck

He loves hearing from you, but may not know how to talk safely to you about his day to day. Keep sending him positive encouragement and do not harass him about it.

He could be depressed, which makes you feel like you have nothing to say. Just a guess.
