OK, I'll put it out there:
I am a Kovalev supporter and someone very happy to see him having a good year. When he is on, he is supreme. Plus, I recently watched a TSN clip which put him (personally) in a different light than most believe he is.
Anyone else out there want to share their take on him?

Yeah, I saw the same clip. That was kinda cool though. You don't see the non-hockey abilities of the players like flying a plane, being a saxophonist, or doing tae kwon do.

Beware of Alexei Kovalev when he pouts...he can be a disruptive force this side of Hurricane Katrina. His attitude is the only limitation towards him becoming a respectable NHL player. Other than that, Kovalev is one hell of a hockey player.

Yes. I bet ANY team would love to have Kovalev. I know they're bustin his chops in Montreal (Habs fans do that to EVERYONE eventually anyways), but I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I think I saw the program as well. Plays the sax, has his pilot's license etc, it all fails to impress me.

I'm a Kovalev fan, I think fans can be hard on him, but then, they are hard on all of them. heck..they even boo'd Koivu (revolting!!)
