Yah, they both die....... Smith ends up finding other people and the cure to the demon disease. But he ends up pulling a granade and sacrafises himself to kill the rest of the evil things. How the dog dies is sooo sad... It gets infected when the evil dogs attack it. Will Smith has to end up choking it before it try's to kill him. :(

It's funny. Will Smith already gave the ending away and then everybody conspired to keep it secret. What happened to the "free press"? I can't go see the movie until I know if it has a happy ending, and that the dog doesn't die.
