Surprised you asked a question like this...you are not normally a "iffer" in your questions. You and I both know the calender is about as good as it is going to get for very good reasons. I don't think we can change the orbit of the Earth(at least yet, and I hope we don't mess with this one), so adding another month would make quite a mess, wouldn't it?

I don't want to add a month Wickwire...instead I want the months to conform to the lunar calendar. This would be 13 months of 28 days each. And then the extra day left over could be laid smack down at the end of the year (in the middle of winter) which would be a designated Holiday for the whole of the world falling between "Christmas" and "New Years".

An extra month between November and December would be nice. It gives us an extra month between the two favorite Holidays of the year. I think Christmas comes to soon after Thanksgiving !!!!

I would add one between December and January. I'm suffering from Holiday burnout. Just did Thanksgiving a few weeks back. It would be nice to have a long pause between holidays, and Christmas to New Years is too close. Besides, we have Martin L. King say 3 weeks after New Years.

Spring is gorgeous in the Carolinas, so I would love another month of that. Our leaves change colors late in the season here, so could I have 1/2 and 1/2???

it would be during the fall season so I would say between October and November, I like the crisp weather where you don't have to wear a heavy coat but a light jacket if you want.and maybe the autumn leaves would stay a little longer on the trees, I love the bright colors.

I would place it between January and February for an extra month of cool, cold weather! With the exception that if it snowed, it could only be 3 inches.

The Gregorian Calendar is out of sync. That's why we have leap year every four years. We should have 13 months in a year. 28 day Moon cycle, the Jewish Calendar is actually the correct one.
So it should probably go at the beginning of September,or just before the Jewish New Year.

Between Sept and Oct to prolong the gorgeous fall weather. It is my favorite time of the year. Some of the fall flowers are beautiful as are the trees and the weather is more predictable.
