Was prescribed bc pills to regulate period. I only get a period like twice a year. It says to start taking them on the first day of your period. Well, don't know when it'll come again.

You can start them whenever you want. Some people advise starting on a Sunday because you will be less likely to get your period on a weekend, but medically it makes no difference.

You can start the pill at any point in your cycle, and you are protected from pregnancy after seven days of active pills.

That's something you need to talk to your doctor about. Usually they will probably tell you to start on the first Sunday of the month if your period isn't regular in the first place.

Just call your doc's office and speak to the nurse. This is something she should be able to help you with over the phone.
