I believe that Santa represents an attitude. A spirit of friendship, caring, sharing and giving.

I witness a big difference among humans who are inflicted with the Christmas spirit dispersed with the symbol of Santa.

An increase in handshakes and smiles and hugs. A bonding of families. A reaching out to those in need. A calling for the end of wars and hostility. A remembrance of our connection to all men/women and our unity under one Creator or whatever one chooses to believe in.

It is no wonder that this time of year when we are reminded of such things that words such as peace and love are often spoken.

If it takes something like Santa to bring this to us, then yes, I believe.

yes I believe that in Holland or maybe it was Finland a very long time ago that there was in fact a toymaker who did in fact deliver toys to poor children. And his sleigh was in fact pulled by reindeer, although they certainly could not fly. Ya know most myths, legends and so forth have a least some basis in fact. The flying reindeer, the coming down the chimmney etc is just embellishments added on. Coco cola gave Santa the red suit. There is nothing wrong with believing in Santa as a symbol of the spirit of giving. I dont think this really conflicts with Jesus Christ' birth.

Yes, but not in the physical sense; that's just impossible! But I do believe Santa metaphorically. I think that Santa is a personifincation of the true meaning of Christmas, which is profound love and giving.
