Yes. When kidding around with each other. When I serve someone potatoes, I say "here have some grub" or if I am fixing a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, I say I am fixing a choke and slide.

gonna feed my face and the rest of me along with it, hit the feeding trough, grab a bite, chow down, stuff my face, pig out but that was in my young days now I just say it's time to eat.
