I don't have to talk to myself because I have "sleep paralysis" and when I fall asleep my sleep is so deep that my body becomes immobile lending it to my subconscious nightmares that take over my body leaving me knowing where I am, who is in the room and unable to move or get up out of bed. Eventually things become so violent that I attempt to scream and eventually I begin to scream; waking my partner who then wakes me--having the fear that I am dying. Because of this problem with sleep paralysis it is important to inform a bed partner of my condition--to prevent that person from being scared half to death.--no joke--real life drama of the worst kind.

Hi. Yes I do talk to myself. I usually talk about staying calm, and not having a panic attack, generaly while I'm under a lot of stress. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! =stress.

Often, lol
I ask myself questions AND answer them.

I have a horrible memory. I'll walk into a room and forget what I was after: "*grumble/grumble* Now WHAT did I come in here for? GRRR! I don't know. Was it food? A book? Clothes? Oh yeah! I remember now!"

I know... I've got problems huh.

Definitely. It's okay until it becomes something you do on a daily basis. I mostly talk to myself when I'm really stressed or have something going on in my life. Nothing wrong with that....

I constantly talk to myself and tell me to be calm and relaxed and not worry for details of every day life and everything will be perfect and all my dreams will be realised and i just have to wait...

Hahaha .. yeah, usually when I'm mad or frustrated about something. I figure, as long as I don't start answering my own questions, I'll be ok. :P
