One Day Soon

One day soon I'll look up,
And see my Lord right in front of me.
At that moment,
Remember all the things He's done for me.
Then fall to my face,
Worshipping His Holy Name.
All the while rejoicing,
That He finally came.
That's how it will be,
One evening.
One morning.
One afternoon.
That's how it will be one day soon.
One day soon,
The old things will pass away.
New things will flourish,
On the morn of a new day.
Precious stones shall lay,
Right beneath my feet.
Every soul in presence,
Will be complete.
Will be renewed.
Will be on display.
That's how it will be one day.

Well Semper,your poem definitely shows your devotion to God,hence the name Semper FI,not just a devotion to the Corp., but to a righteous life.Your poem eloquently shows our God, Jesus Christ,is coming to cleanse the tyranny man has done,to restore a beautiful peaceful land. Most importantly,your poem shows your love of God,and the appreciation you have for your blessings.This is a wonderful piece of work,that would definitely compliment a Thomas Kincaid painting.

You have done it again! I hope you are keeping up with all of your poems. Maybe someday the Lord will see fit to put them all in a book form so that the whole world can get the same blessings that you give those of us who are a part of this forum.
Just remember why we do what we do. We do what we do and we do what we can do because we love the Lord.And we love the Lord because he first loved us.

That one day
Shall I see the beauty
The most precious beauty
God has created
In none other than heaven
The pearls of the gates
The gems all laid out
The mansion
My room
That Jesus prepares for me
I shall thank Jesus
That I get to experience that beauty
All because He laid down His life for me
One day
I shall enjoy eternity with my Best Friend
The One
Who does things no human
Can do
And want to do
One day
Jesus will dry my tears away
And let me know in His own comforting way
Everything will be alright
Shall I feel no more pain
Nor struggles
Never again knowing what it's like
To feel Satan's presence
In my thoughts,words, and action.
Shall my work be pleasing to God all the more there
Than it is here on earth
Please God
Help show me the way
While on earth
Give me the directions to Your heavenly kingdom
What it takes for me to hear the best words ever
" You're name is in the Book Of Life. Well Done
Thy faithful servant!"
Because nothing means anything truly
If I don't please God and be with Him someday.
Jesus, I want to show you through my thoughts

And why you did it!
