lol. when I listened to punk, I liked
NOFX, Social Distortion, Lagwagon, Face to Face, Propagandhi (awesome!!), Agent Orange, Against All Authority, Dead Kennedys, Suicide Machines, Toxic Narcotic (hardcore punk from Boston), The Unseen, The Casualties
I liked Fenix TX a lot, but they're more pop than punk
what is all this non-sense about revenge? A lot of the punk I listened to dealt with politics and ethics and social issues.. Maybe a lot of today's "PUNK" bands are just in it for the appeal
motion city soundtrack, avenged sevenfold, linkin park, panic at the disco ARE NOT PUNK.

Old School Rock from the 80's and maybe even the 90's are the best. Good Charlotte and Simple Plan are also good, but the music nowadays aren't that good like it used to be.
