Well for us as a people, hopefully cheaper fuel prices! But for us as a country, I think capitalism. America wants to rule the world! But we have to do it one country at a time.

You have to look farther into the future and into other countries too. This isn't just about Iraq. It's about the rising tide of Islamist militants who want to take over wherever they can.
Iraq, if it remains anything like a democracy, will be an ally against these extremists. It will slow down the progress of the extremists and make it more likely that freedom will survive.
In 20 years, we will see how it came out.

Call me a naive idealist but in my humble opinion I think we will be winning a voice for the citizens of Iraq. There is something to be said (positively i might add) for a country that removes a brutal dictator in order to give an average person their right to live and be heard regardless of their differences.

some human beings are sheep and have faith something you tell them. it somewhat is totally hard for conservatives to admit they are incorrect. all of us understand Iraq had no WMDs and that they weren't in contact 9/11. however the Bush administration has to justify this conflict, so NOW Iraq grew to become into harboring the terrorists. I nonetheless say its all on the subject of the oil.

Nothing. It was started because they thought it would be a walk in the park to getting control of Iraq's massive oil fields, It's not working out that way.

as long as bush is the executive chief there will be war
bush is just an idiot that doesn't know what's he doing. what is certain is that hundreds are dying everyday for no reason. i believe that it's time that Iraq shall resolve their government problems by itself
