From what I can tell by watching the Venezuelan news, and listening to online radio stations, Chavez, is well destroying Venezuela.
There was recently an election (not a presidential election, constitutional election, I believe) and Chavez, finally lost. This time a lot of college students (I believe) were counting the votes this time, to prove that Chavez really does lose these elections.
From now on, many things can happen, all [hopefully] leading up to a happier and better Venezuela, without Chavez.

The citizens needed a change from the elitist government that was holding them down.
They got that change, and now they have a tyrant in charge.
They are well aware of their risk and were smart enough to prevent Chavez from getting total power.
Congratulations the the citizens of Venezuela.
NOW, establish a Free Enterprise System without elitists or Communist tyrants in charge. Benefit from the fruits of your own labors and you will do well!

Chaves just tried to change the constitution so he can run indefinatly....but was voted down.... He's trying to change to a sociolist government I believe, probably a smoke screen for a dictatorship I'm sure he still has something up his sleeve so that he doesn't lose his "presidential" leadership
