If you really like the product you are selling, you would be buying $30 worth of candles for $10. But you do not get paid anything for selling the other $120 worth of candles to other people.

Look at it this way - if somone said "sell $120 worth of candles for me for nothing and I will let you buy $30 of candles from me for only $10" - would you do it?

No I wouldn't. Assuming you like the product enough to even want $20 worth, you are still $10 behind. You'd have to buy even more of their products for their "discount". To say nothing of the time you spend selling $150 worth of their product - and you may not sell $150 worth. Don't do it.

Doesn't make sense to spend more than you'll get.
