I won a $1000 charitble gift on a local radio station that i must give to my own choice of charity for the holliday spirit, but i have no idea who to give it to, i can give it to an individual or an organzation. Any ideas

Well I have two places in mind that you could help and they need it...
One is give to your local animal shelter to feed all kinds of lost and stray animals they take in...
Or give to a local nursing home that takes care of elderly folks that can't take care of themselves...
My mom is in a nursing home and has Alzheimer's and cannot take care of herself...
She needs constant care with nurses and wheelchairs and food and laundry and cleaning and medicine...
So if you gave to that type of place, you would be helping someone else...

I am not sure as there are so many to choose from. But why not give it to needy family charities or needy children. If not why not try animal shelters or such. :) Good luck and god bless you and just remember that whoever you choose will have a much better holiday season because of your generosity. :) What a great competition to have held by a radio station. I wish we had that where I live.

Give it to a sick kids hospital, or a camp for sick kids with cancer etc. Or the Make a Wish or Christmas Wish.
Or donate it to an organization where $1 buys a kid medicine and food for a year in some third world nation. Lots of places.
Ronald McDonald House is great. They house parents and children with cancer, etc. who have to come into hospitals for their treatment from out of town and have no place to stay.

I like the sisters of Charity of Mother Theresa, because I not only have seen their work on tv but in real life I got to visit one of the schools they run for the poor. They help all sort's of people indiscriminately, poor, aids sufferers, etc

Give it to Ronald McDonald House. They actually do what they say with the money and go beyond.
My daughter had surgery , it was in another city, they put my family up for free in their gorgeous home and gave us everything we needed to be comfortable and more. Its an awesome charity.
Or a pregnancy crisis center and help out babies.
or st judes childrens hospital.

There are so many well deserving charity organizations that could use that money but I would either give it to a battered woman's organization or a children's hospital.

i'd start up the day with a rub down, nail reducing and have my hair achieved then i'd go procuring purchase myself something superb and extreme priced with shoes, bag then i'd go out for a meal with my hubby
