In 1956 the first color Sci Fi came out called "Forbidden Planet." I was 9 and my sister 11. It is considered a classic today of scarey sci fi. My sister hid the majority of time in the bathroom.
You can see it periodically on cable! Made before the time of computer, what is the monster, how is it killing people, and how do the people survive?

The Ring. The plot sounds ridiculous, but it is one scary film! When I went to see it in the cinema, I spent half the evening in the loo so I wouldn't have to watch the scary bits!

28 Days Later
Zombies freak me out. The whole idea of losing yourself but still being alive just gives me the willies. I'm terrified of not being me, if you know what I mean. Or of being surrounded by my friends and family and having to kill them because they're zombies.
And could you imagine waking up in hospital and everyone being dead, or zombies? Fcking Hell!!
