Everytime I tell him my feelings about something that bothers me that he might do for example I dont agree with my boyfriend going to strip clubs - i've heard it all about how boys will be boys etc and how many women dont care if their bfs go to those places but i do - i think its very disrespectful and i dont like the idea of him coming home to me after that to take it out on me like many other women - puke! anyway, so he promised me he wouldnt do such a thing cuz he knows it'll hurt me but i found out that he went many times with his buddies and told me he was going to the bar instead.
I feel like its like this with everything, if he puts his mind to something he'll find a way to do it even if its thru lying and that hurts me and we talk about this stuff so much and he promises me the world and doesnt do any of it.
if this is the case and he doesnt love me or whatever why does he still stay with me and say i love you?

He very well may love u, he just doesn't agree w/ u. He thinks becuz his friends go then he should be able to. I agree w/ the strip club thing, that's a big no no in my book. U can see it at home no need to pay for it. It is wrong and very disrespectful. I'd tell him he needs to take ur feelings into consideration and if he wants to live the single life u won't stop him but u won't stand there while he walks on u.

Of course he doesn't love you. He does not have the smallest grain of respect for your feelings, how can he claim to love you?
As to the reason for why he is staying with you - because you let him! He is lying to you, he is hurting your feelings, he is making promises that he has no intention of keeping, and still you forgive him time and time again and believe his lies time and time again.
Wake up, girl, and realize that the ball is in your court. Instead of waiting another 5 years for him to get tired of the cruel little games he's playing with you, why not take the initiative and break up with him yourself?

It is obvious to everyone here that your boyfriend is just using you. He probably know another woman wouldn't put up with his behaviour. He knows you do, though. He will keep disrespecting you, because you have allow it. The real question here is why are you still there?

I think you should be asking yourself why you stay with him since you know he doesn't respect you. I know 5 years is a long time but don't you think you deserve a guy who respects you?

sounds like to me he has issues with trying to find himself, alot of guys, take their g/f for granted he wants to be with his freinds, but wants to be with you too...i know this,when i was younger i did the same thing...dont be used i am very happily married and wouldnt think of going to a strip club, it would be a total slap in the face to my wife!! and i wont do that...he is in that in between land where he wants his freinds and you too...but he really needs to consider your feelings you need to tell him what they are and what you expect....stand up for yourself dont be a doormat....!!....he probly doesnt know what a good thing he has....leave for a few daze....give him time to think about it...see what you mean to him....sorry this is so long.....good luck to you both

well he stays with you because he knows you are all ways going to be there no matter what he does scared him and tell him your dont want him anymore if he keeps on he dont love you if he stops he loves you
