doctors seem to think theres nothing wrong but was refered to hospital just in case, found i had infection which was treated but still having complications with the operation site

i am having these same problems. i have been back to the specialist twice and my Gp twice, but neither of them seem to think i have an infection. It has only been a month since my op and my Gp told me it could be up to 6 months before i feel totally comfortable again, but no suggestion was made as to how i could relieve the pain and burning sensation in my stomach. Maybe i should go back to the drs and throw a tantrum and demand some tests or antibiotics!!!

You should definitely contact your doctor about this.
