i have a project to do, and the topics i have left to choose from are industrial espionage and workplace absenteeism.

Looks like either one has lots of stuff about it. Here's a couple of sites for each. Just go to Google and type in either one and you will get lots of stuff. Probably the Industrial espionage will have more and varied things about it.
