I tried the same thing when I was trying to figure out how to do it. If you are just trying to learn how to insert it and take it right back out it should not be a problem. You will have to use a lubricant to imitate actual use. Only use an approved lubricant for such a sensitive area. KY or something similar.

Good luck

I don't know what you're testing but yes, you can use a tampon even if you do not have your period. Be careful doing that though because you may cause an infection you don't want. Bacteria live in dampness so it's really not all that healthy for you unless you are expecting your period and don't want to be caught without some kind of protection to avoid an embarrassing accident!

NO, there not for everyone....I've worn them for a long time!! Try the Kotex brand there the ones I use and I think there the most comfortable, I have tried tampax pearl and all of them forget it!! Those are so uncomfortable, as far as the poky situation it probably isn't in far enough!! When you go to put it in i find sitting on the toilet with my legs spread apart is the easiest, but everyone has there own way. Also if you are still a virgin they may take some getting use to, I however was not a virgin when I started wearing them so that could be why they never bothered me??!! Good luck, but i say if your more comfortable wearing pads go for it, no guy is going to say your gross for wearing pads instead of tampons!!

Yes you can even though its not recommended. Inserting a tampon when you're not on your period can be painful to put in and out because you are too dry. Also, always try to wear a tampon that fits your flow, a too high absorbency tampon can lead to TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). So it better that you don't use a tampon if you're not on your period and its also better to alternate betweens tampons and pads.

What a tampon would feel like not on your period would be completely different so what would be the point? If you want to know it would not feel the same anyway so wait until you have your period to try it.

I wouldn't advise it. The chances of getting tss go up and personaly, when I put in a tampon at the end of my period and don't have enough fluid (blood) on it when I have to pull it out IT HURTS LIKE HELL> Fells like my insides are being turned inside out.

uh, what, do you think that if you're not on your period a brick wall covers the opening to your vagina? yes, you can still put a tampon in, but don't because you'll have a higher chance of having Toxic Shock Syndrome
