No. You can, but it's best to just invest in a tinted moisterizer. Mixing foundation and a moisterizer will simply thin about the foundation and add in the grease of the moiterizer.

It's best to use a face moisturizer plain lotion may clog your pores giving you pimples. You have to make certain that the bottle says "non cosmogenic" which means it won't clog the pores. It's also best to use a lotion made for you face specifically, hand lotions are heavier and would cake up your face. Face creams/lotions are pH balanced for the more delicate skin on your face. You can find some cheap face moisturizers at Target or even Walgreen's. Since you're not worried about wrinkles and the like, you don't have any reason to spend money on the more expensive stuff. Also, I'd recommend that you use a thinner lotion versus a thicker cream. Buy small containers or even sample sizes if you can and experiment with what you like best. PS makeup is fun and really quite simple once you figure out what you like, don't get too worried over what kind of stuff to use, you'll figure it out.

Maybe you should just buy a moisturizing foundation rather than potentially ruining what you have....? Try cCinique...they've got really good foundations for $15-$30 and range from dry skin, combo and oil skin...and everything in between :)

It should work, many people do it. Just make sure you use a water based foundation and water based moisterizer...otherwise it will just be a biiiiigggg mess!

YES! Alot of pro make-up artist do it. It cuts down alot of time when getting ready. But if you really want a high quality product go for one with moisturizer in it and an spf which will protect your skin from sun damage and premature ageing!

yeah it'll work, but I'd recommend buying an actual tinted moisturizer, they are intended to do just that and you'll definitely get the right consistancy
