Yes,
My wife works in the O.B. as a R.N. She has seen and has encountered many people who have had periods up until they were 4 or 5 months pregnant, and it is not abnormal to have some bleeding during "that time of the month", while it is unusual, it does occur.

Yes you can bleed during a pregnancy. I know this first hand. I had a normal like period for the first three months of my pregnacy. It's not common but should be checked by a doctor. I freaked out and thought I was going to loose my baby but after seeing my doctor about 5 times in the first 3 months, everything was fine. Like I said it's not normal but it CAN happen. Good luck!!!!

Many women report bleeding when pregnant, although it's not an actual period. It should be reported to the doctor ASAP as it could indicate a problem.

If you are pregnant you can have a little bit of bleeding but it's not a period. If you are pregnant and the bleedining is heavy and you are having lower back pain or cramping see a physician pronto as these are signs of misscarriage. But no you do not have a period when you are pregnant.
