typically, blood makes up 10% body weight in animals (i know wiki says 7% and some sites cite 11%, but anyway...).

it's already been stated that fat tissue has lots of capilaries (because you know, fat is stored within adipose cells--and those cells still need nutrients from blood so they wont necrose...but anyway...); it just makes sense, the bigger (whether fat or muscular) you are, the more blood you will have.

furthermore, blood volume will also be influenced by altitude

I have been losing weight my whole life with my heaviest being 360 lbs. I lost 19 lbs in 2 weeks. And even after losing most of my weight on a basic starvation diet and knee crippling exercise I knew this was the answer. I have never been below 25% BF. I have never looked as healthy as I do. I have never had the confidence that I have now. I have never felt as good as I feel.

Yes. Blood volume increases with size.

If blood volume stayed the same, they wouldn't have enough blood to fill the extra vessels that are present in the fatty tissue, and so their resting heart rate would probably have to double.

Yes, they do. The averages that medical people go by are different for men and women, and it makes sense that this is based on size, so it must also be true that the fatter the person the more blood they have!

Yes, you have to grow capillaries to travel through the fat layer, it needs a blood supply for nutrients.

Inform friends, family and work acquaintances that you’re dieting. Support on the people around you keeps an individual motivated, stops you from cheating and makes it less likely that you fall off the wagon.

Yes. That's why there's a minimum weight for giving blood. You've got to have a pint to spare.

Do Americans give a 16oz pint while in the UK we give a 20oz. pint? Or have blood-banks gone metric?

no it doesnt matter what size you are, adult males roughly have 5-6 pints of blood and women have 4-5 pints.
the fact that someone is overweight means that their heart has to work much harder to pump blood around the body. this is why overweight people often have high blood pressure as the heart has to pump blood faster and harder through the body.
also overweight people may struggle with intense activity/exercise as it is more difficult for the oxygen in the blood to be transported to working muscles

actually adipose tissue is very well vascularized, so the more you have, obviously the more capillaries there will be supplying blood to it
