When some people talk about the shot they are talking about Depo-Provera.

It is very possible that you could be dealing with a hormone imbalance depending on how long you have had your period. If you are just starting in to having periods irregularity is normal for about the first two years.

Please let your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on this.

ok, so youre not pregnant.
ok, so youre not underweight.
ok, so youre not on birth control.

womens' periods can change depending on lots of things.

you know how people can get ulcers from stress?
or when peoples skin breaks out from nerves?
theres bad nutrition, theres the care products youre using.
etc.

another reason could be your physical health. when was the last time you went to see an OBGYN? your period NOT happening might be a warning sign for something more serious.

my suggestion would be to talk to a doctor asap. ya, it might be just nerves. but it could be something else, too. best to check.

It could be one of several things. Menopause is one. Hormone imbalance is another. The " shot " refers to a birth control shot called Deprovara. You get it once every three months so you only get your period once every three months.

well its normal when you're young to skip your period, so i wouldnt worry about it, and if you were pregnant, it would be showing by now
