I have a GFCI outlet that tripped. i don't know how to reset it. it does not have a reset button and i've tested several other GFCI outlets that don't work either. All the outlets are either outside or in the garage and none have reset buttons. my bathrooms appear to be on a separate circuit and all have test and reset buttons. these bathroom outlets are working. how do i reset my exterior GFCI outlets? ALL GFCI outlets have reset buttons on them. If it is an outside outlet without a reset, go to your breaker box. It is possible your breaker either has a reset on it or it has tripped.

GFCI outlets can either be in the panel or on the breaker itself. Look on the inside wall where the problem breaker is to see if the tapped off there. Also look to see if ther is a sub panel in another part of the house. Have they worked before and how many are we talking about?. You could have one GFCI and two outlets, and that gfci could be gone. The first one also feeds the second one

Look for another GFCI outlet, perhaps in another bathroom and if it has a reset button that should also reset the other one. Check the breaker box. It's probably a switch that's off. Turn each one off and then back on again. Sometimes it is not completely tripped and you have to turn it all the way off to reset it before you turn it back on.

Find the one with the reset button. Or reset the GFCI circuit breaker in the electric panel.

Open the breaker box and check for tripped circuit breakers. The GFCI reset button might be on the breaker.

Good idea to read, and re-read the question before hitting that button, y'know. Question is not clear at all. There is at least ONE GCFI outlet with a reset button.

John Himself gave me the answer. We have 4 bathroom on the second floor and none have a reset button but the bathroom on the first floor had the reset button for all the other bathroom. I reset the one on the first floor and all the others now work.

You know its GFI? Have you just checked the breaker panel? Could have tripped a breaker on that circuit
