Depending on the date it was created, as well as where and who carved it, your ''wooden carousel horse'' could be worth tens of thousands of dollars.
See if you can locate a date. Also surf some sites untill you find similar pieces. That will give you a ballpark to start at.

One last piece of advice, you can get a price from these dealers but keep in mind that's what they want to pay you (so they can profit), not what it's worth.

Are they solid ones or open? And how many is considered a "set"? If you are talking about $200 for ONE jump, then that would mean about $1,000 for five jumps (new). So $550 would be reasonable (half the price) - I'm sure someone will still want to bargain so I would not take less then $500 for them.

Wow, this item sounds very unique and interesting. You could be sitting on a valuable antique worth hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

There's a show on PBS, maybe you've seen it, called "What's it worth" where they go around appraising items people find in their basements and attics that turn out to be worth a lot of money. Maybe you could contact them and have them take a look? Seems like a perfect fit for your relic.

Here's the link to the show's website: http://www.theantiquesalmanac.com/contact.htm

Good luck!

Take a look at this website and see if it looks anything like any of the ones listed here. As you will see people are selling these for a ton of money. Take your time selling it and do some research looking at sites like this. I have a feeling you have something worth a bit of money here.
