should they continue to claim there over inflated salaries and allowances now that they are rubber stamp jobbers? Do you think that they are more suited to this, in which case should they be on the minimum wage?

Dickn, these are not insinuations. Keep up with the News. Gordon Brown has signed the treaty without the referndum promised in the labour manifesto.

Murphywi, No we didn't vote for him and we will no longer be able to vote to get anyone out that we don't like. We are now ruled by Brussels unelected Eurocrats.

Saoirse, I agree but even worse is the fact that the decisions will be made by incompetent, unelected Eurocrats as opposed to incompetent, elected politicians!

This Government has cost us so much, It has taken Joe Public so long to realise what it is going to cost, I really wish people had woken up before, but they didn't, and now we all have to pay the price, because of it. two years in to this dreadful government, should have been enough, I hope now, somebody may wake up, Why did WE allow this to Happen? Because the Country VOTED LABOUR.Now we are in the S--T

Minimum wage is only political. It is inflationary, because when they raise the minimum wage the prices rise. It is true that some people need food stamps. This should encourage people to get more education or a trade and increase their income. In most cases the employer pays more than minimum wage anyway. As far as being sold out to Europe we have been soled out to everyone who will buy for a long time.I just don't like the fact that guest workers make more than the minimum wage, even though they have quarters furnished,And get free medical at taxpayers expense along with the rising cost of people who do pay their medical bills.
Guess we should be thankful for what we have.

How right you are Rosie, but be prepared to fend off the ignoramuses. It still has to be ratified in Parliament, but Labour are going to impose the whip, so politicians won't be able to vote according to conscience.

I would give them something far worse ( including some of your dumbo respondents who's stupidity/apathy has allowed this situation to develop) than the minimum wage, a maximum gaol term.

Rosie, i came to the conclusion a long time ago that politicians, regardless of their political allegiance are in it for them selves It sickens me the way this government is running the country but i didn't think it was much better under the Tories either, I'm just so disillusioned by the whole lot of them, one is as bad as the other. what is the solution, coz i just dont know.

Disgusting isn't it? This is an independent union and so should not be governed by idiots from across the sea. Roll on the melting of the ice caps- at least Brussells will then be below sea level and we may get our country back. Self rule!!

you're allowed to purchase poison in many sorts in each and every thing from particular styles of meals and nutrition ingredients, to insecticides. a number of those poisons are somewhat risky, plenty extra effective than cigarettes. you do no longer would desire to purchase or use any of them. Your selection.

It was always inevitable, any government that opposed Europe was just shooting themselves in the foot and out of office.

Most of the people in government are already rubber stamp jockeys anyway, no talent or brains among them.

Well.....the way things are going...we won't need a government anyway will we? If everything is to be in the hands of someone else...whats the point of our government? We didn't vote for Gordon Brown anyway did we? I think we can manage without him and the rest of his lot....it would save the country a fortune wouldn't it?
