so... i was waiting for one of my classes to start yesterday, and i over heard this girl talking about how she switched her birth control. she said she did research on it and other girls who are on it didn't gain any weight, but their breasts got bigger. i was hoping someone would know which birth control this is and let me know. i really want to switch mine to this birth control, so i don't gain anymore weight and maybe grow some much wanted boobs. THANKS!

They may have been talking about Yasmin or its sister product which can cause some women to lose weight while on it.
All birth control pills, including Yasmin and Yas have the potential to make the breasts bigger in size because of the hormones in the medication. Being on the pill can also make the breasts tender because of the hormones in the medication in some women.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

Hi,
Hormonal birth control methods, like the pill, patch or ring can cause weight gain in some people. Usually the higher the estrogen content the more the boobs tend to swell. My mom used the pills in the 60's which had a lot of estrogen and her brests were very tender. I'm on ortho tri cyclen and it has 35mcg (intermediate) and my boobs did grow a bit. I'm lucky I didn't gain weight. The medical literature tends to say that as many people gain as looses weight, but I don't agree.

What could affect her that way could affect you totally different.
