Traveling is work. But if you are there long enough to take in a few sights and enjoy it, then its wonderful.
--- New York is great at Christmas time, and Berlin too.
But for me Paris can't be beat. The atmosphere is just perfect for the Birthday of the Lord.
--- New York is where most folks want to be for New Year's
Day but I really prefer Berlin. Something about the cold crisp
German air with the snow falling.
--- I'm still looking forward to spending Christmas and New Year's Day in Bethlehem. But for that to happen the Muslims are going to have to get a grip.
--- In the mean time this year as in most I will just have to
suffer with the clear skies and bright California Sun here

Hi, Sweetie! Looks like you've gotten around quite a bit.
I've only lived in the USA but have visited Canada several times, Mexico for a week, England for10 days and France for a week.
I want to visit Sweden and Italy next.

U.S.A. most of my life. California 40+ years, 32 other states lived or visited, with AZ, NJ, MN & MT getting 6 mos. or more out of me. Then 2 weeks in Mexico, 3 weeks in Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and a stone's throw from Canada. Next is the British Isles and Oceania.I'm presently in Minnesota and loving it.
