I hate toilet brushes.
They are disgusting and unhygenic.
I have the disposable one. Who wants poo hanging around on a toilet brush with water and floating poo inside a little bowl...??
Ehhhhh the thought of it makes me heave!

As a proffessional cleaner male by the way I never use bleach as this damages the porceline first the toilet is sprayed completely inc.cistern, outside of pan, seat etc. with a powerful disinfectant and left for a minimum of 8 minutes for contact time then washed down with a mild solution of of the same then flush the loo and add any type of toilet duck and leave for contact time then get a TOILET BRUSH and scrub around bowl inc under rim before the final flush, as toilet is flushing hold brush in the water and shake before removing should limescale be a problem u can get a limescale remover toilet duck.

yes but also that clever thing by Toilet Duck, Its that spongy thing that clips on to a long stick and after use its flushed down the loo. I still prefer the brush though and i buy lots of cheap ones from the pound shops so i can have new whenever i feel it necessary

Sometimes I use a toothbrush for those hard to reach spots.
I'm serious. We have hard water and sometimes the only way to clean out the deposits in tight curves in the bottom of the bowl where it curves into the throat is to get in there with a small brush, and I have found an old tooth brush works just fine.
I use old tooth brushes for all sorts of odd cleaning jobs.

No I hate the thought of a filthy brush hanging around the bathroom. I pour bleach down and also that other one for lime scale and clean it around with a old cloth or brush and then throw that away ,how do you do yours?

Yes, but I don't use it to brush my teeth anymore.
Was there an alternative to a toilet brush? Nothing beats elbow grease to make things clean.

No. They are the biggest germ harbourers in the world. Just clean poo stains with toilet paper.
