Not that I've done one the last few years, but multi-colored Italian lights with a mix of ornaments. Used to use tinsel before they make it light and junky. I saw a tree done in red and green lights which was just beautiful. I bought some end of season last year and thought it would be pretty with shiny red, green, silver, and clear ornaments....like icicles.

Multi-colored lights with ornaments. I bought some shiny red, green, silver, and clear ornaments. Then I put some tinsels on the tree.

I have a ton of *Victorian ornaments from years ago & still use them every year!
