Christmas is only on December 25th

Depends what exactly you mean by that. More details? Since you said "days" instead of day I can only guess that you mean the 12 days of Christmas. That would begin on Dec. 25 (celebrating the birth of Chist) and end on Jan. 5 (celebrating the wise men bringing their gifts to the Christ child). I am limited in my knowledge of many cultures traditions so this is the only one I can think of that would answer your question.

If you are asking a broader question, here's my another answer. Various cultures have different traditions in regards to when Christmas begins for them. There are some that only put up a tree and decorate the night before or even after the kiddos have gone to sleep on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24). Others celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, the arrival of the wise men (Jan. 5), or they begin the day after Thanksgiving. Some religions recognize that Christ was born somewhere closer to April (sorry, I forget the exact day) but they still celebrate the holiday on the same day as everyone else. I believe that all cultures agree that the main day to celebrate is on "Christmas Day" which is the entire day of December 25.

BUT I think that all will agree that, just as the wise men looked forward to the day that the Christ child was born and then made a journey to bring him gifts in celebration, so do we today consider the spiritual preparation and journey part of Christmas, no matter how early or late we start.

Merry Christmas!

On the church calendar the Christmas season begins with Advent which is the fourth Sunday before Christmas. Epiphany is the season after Christmas.

Christmas day to the 12th day after it . Have you not heard the song "the twelve days of Christmas "also its unlucky to leave your decorations up after the 12th day so remember to take them down before the twelfth night
