Sorry, but Mars is warming. They'd complain about it there too.

The interesting thing is that planting trees captures carbon dioxide. All the fossil fuels we burn, coal and oil in particular, started life millions of years ago as vegetation. So the carbon we release by burning those fuels means all we are doing is releasing that carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere were it actually came from in the first place. The only difference is that it was captured over a long time and is now being released in a very short time span, geologically speaking. As someone else has said, the climate of the planet has fluctuated over the years, witness the ice ages. I think the truth is that really no-one is 100% sure what is going to happen. One sure way of reducing the emission of carbon dioxide etc is to limit and then slowly reduce the worlds population, the fewer people the lower the demand for emissions. This will happen eventually because food and water will limit growth because people will starve to death. Only China has so far had the sense to limit it's population, given time others will follow.

Interesting solution... however you would be funding a huge launching because the majority of Americans and Europeans buy into the idea of "global warming"... most people are actually arguing about how much of global warming that is effecting the environment, not if it actually exists... read some statistics before you ask a question like this.

Yer funny. "...all the nuts that buy into this "Global Warming" nonsense...". Like 3,000 scientists? Ironically your "plan" to send everyone who acknowledges global warming to Mars would cost more than the Iraq war and completely destroy what's left of the Earth's atmosphere. Brilliant. I think I see a flaw. Why not just keep your head in the sand with the rest of the Exxon employees until the swiftly approaching natural catastrophes wipe out billions of people. I hope your not one of them. I'd be fascinated to see how long it would take you to say "oops".

You can't see any flaws in your 'solution' because you're blind as well as stupid. If 'nuts' are to be rounded up you must surely be one of the first on the list, along with your ridiculous president.
The USA is now virtually alone in the civilised world as a fully educated democracy that refuses to accept the fact of global warming and its causes.
I don't know what is it about the USA that makes its citizens and leaders deny the scientific facts, that are staring them in the face, in favour of dreams. Perhaps it is a symptom of teaching the masses about religion, with the aberrations of creationism and 'intelligent design', as opposed to properly reasoned scientific analysis.
It's an absolute disgrace to the whole of the USA that Al Gore's voice remains in the wilderness.
You should all be deeply ashamed of your leaders for putting their own narrow vested interests before the issue of global warming, which is arguably the most serious single threat to mankind, and of yourselves for allowing them to do so.

Well let me step out side to see the major cities in the area. Oh wait, you cant because they are all covered up in smog. Btw, did you get a glass of acid rain to drink this year. Oh wait, you can drink rain water any more either. Oh ya, did you enjoy the red days this year and or orange? Nothing like having red days for 33 days in a row!
With other major world powers now steping up to our level. It will not be long before water itself equals death if you drink it.
Maybe I should make it simple for you to understand. lets take A. a gun and B. blast two holes into you. Now you can still function, though you will only beable to function for a period of time before you die! end of point!
The more we send into our ozon, the faster this world will die.

No, you display your ignorance by saying that taxes will go down with more death penalty cases. Why would you want to display your igborance of how much the average death penalty case costs the taxpayers?

Of course pal!, why don't we just ignore the Global Warming, destroy our planet, so the U.S. can become more productive, and then in 20 years, after it is irreparable, we think about a solution.
