Hmm... Maybe you're right about the publicity thing... maybe 60% of the reason they go to Iraq is for ratings and the rest is for the troops since everything is all about publicity and ratings in the WWE now-in-days.

The publicity may be a minor part of it. But JBL is the person that came up with the idea and Vince liked it. The both support the troops 100%. So the original idea was 100% for the troops. Maybe they keep going back for some publicity but trust me JBL is all about the troops.

They have gone every years since the war on terrorism started. The superstars want to go support the troops, its not some cheap publicity stunt. You just wish TNA had enough money to go over to Iraq and support the troops instead of WWE.

There may be a little "cheap publicity" about it, but I believe the WWE (especially Vince) really supports the TROOPS and this is their way of thanking them (a little Christmas present) for putting their lives on the line for us.

Its for the troop. They're busting their backside over there everyday dealing with dumb idiots who want our boys and girls out of their country. So its nice for the WWE to go over there and give these warriors some entertainment from home.

A combination of both.

However, it is reasonable to say that the WWE wrestlers traveling to Iraq are putting themselves more in harms way than when they're in the ring. Not everything the WWE does is for 100% publicity.

Yes it is both...WWE just not wants ratings so they are going international...and this is a way to show your heart against the troops...

Why do you critizie everything? Besides IDIOT, Vince is a true patriot. If Vince was making zero dollars, had no tv time, he would still do it becuase he LOVES the wresting business and is a HARDCORE patriot! Besides, stand out from what you MORON? Their the leader in sports entertainment! (if they dont do it first then tna,the nfl, ufc, etc. wont do it either).

They already went to Iraq, it will just be taped to Christmas Eve.
Why do you think WWE does everything for just money reasons, whoever you are in America, you respect the troops.
When has TNA ever done anything for the troops, I think TNA has done nothing.

I say more so soldiers. Their throwing everyone who goes lives in danger, and they would get more crap from crititcs forcing wrestlers to go. So they ask who wants too and maybe those wrestlers stand out, but its a really good deed.
