Britain has now overtaken America as the biggest donor to the world bank.Great! if you can afford it. But if we can afford it, why cant we afford to increase the budget, say,for Wales. and so make life better for poor people there? As the Welsh assembly have in real terms taken a cut in their budget. Or even give the Police a decent wage?

All this largess which Self-elected Brown strews around the World is used purely to promote his ego.
He was fortunate enough to inherit a sound domestic and
International economic situation in 1997. Despite this he still managed to sell off most of our gold reserves, at knock-down prices, plunder the pension funds and leave a large part of the population with unsustainable debts.
Sadly, he started to believe his own publicity and really believed that he had economic talent. Most moves that he now makes are designed to bolster his rapidly crumbling
confidence.

You should pressure your representatives in the Welsh assembly and your MPs about this serious issue. It seems to me that charity should begin at home.
