The value of half-dime coins varies tremendously, depending on the year, mint and condition of the coin. The value could range anywhere for fron a couple dollars to around a million dollars for an 1870-S half-dime

I went to www.ebay.com and did a search for "half dime" which had a few hundred hits. Most of them were selling for under $10 each.

Well it depends. If this is a trick question then you have a nickle which is 5 cents. Otherwise I'm pretty sure it isn't worth much.

I'm pretty sure it'd be worth more if you find the other half.
