americans gangs how ever tend to be composed of diffrent racial and ethnic groups who do share the same general neighborhood.
1-what mean (who do share the same general neighborhood)here?

Generally most Gangs are from the bottom strata of American society. The neighborhoods are often racially segregated and it is amazing how this can can change from block to block. I have lived in an area of Long Beach, California where there were 3 or 4 different gangs in the same area. Chicano, Vietnamese and Blacks. Very confusing and quite dangerous!
