I know it happened it 1993, but it brought a tear to my eye. I could never have thought 2 ten year olds could be that evil. Do you think they got the right punishment?

The question is What caused two 10 year old boys to commit such a crime.
Perhaps the answer decides if they were given the right punishment.
I'm sure ,from Jamie's family side, no punishment would have been enough.

its Bulger. he was 2 and those boys tortured him..they pushed a battery up his little backside and another in his mouth,,they knew what they were doing...they have good lives now and are in their 20s. that poor baby didn't stand a chance...

i was 9 at the time so it was the biggest convo at my school i remember vividly the tape of him outside the shops. one of the boys Venables was "imprisoned" very close to where i live which caused massive controversy its scary how fast time went over and now they're both free jamie will never be forgotten!

I personally would have liked their parents jailed.
Evil is a learned process no an inherent character flaw.
What they did was abhorrent but they were babies themselves; however I don't think they got long enough inside and hope they are well monitored now they are out.

I remember watching it on the news. I think those boys had it easy. Prison with play stations. Might as well send them on a long holiday.... And having their identities kept secret..... Why shouldnt ppl know who they are?
