thinking logically i think when we die its gonna be just like we are sleeping but without dreams and without waking up.

i think a "god" like figure and "heaven" like place is possible

but since no body knows what will happen i suppose anything can happen.

what do you think?

What we experience as consciousness is a manifestation of the electrical activity in our brains. As we die, our nervous system degenerates physically and our consciousness evaporates.

Our souls are not immortal. Personalities are not recycled. There is no heaven or hell, no reincarnation.

Death is not like sleeping. It's more like a chemical transformation into an inanimate object.

Two things are very possible in my opinion one is nothing you die and there is nothing else no memories no nothing. Like before you where born do you remember anything? That would probably be the best way to describe it. Or there is a Heaven and a Hell. And there could be a series of events after you die. In my opinion that's the best conclusion I can come up with.

Could you explain life outside of the womb to a fetus in one at the moment? No, and it's about as difficult to explain the afterlife to a human.

You are in a similiar energy sac which some can see (auras) and you can yourself sense using a couple of clothes hangers. Read up on the silver cord many mystics speak of. It's very parallel to life in the womb, which is a good indication of continued life after this one.

You can separate your consciousness from your body (i.e., out of body experiences) now. It occurs permanently upon physical death of the body, which is like a placenta to the state of being after this one.

I agree with you. The Bible is very specific: "For dust you are and to dust you will return." It only mentions a certain, chosen amount of people going to heaven. Of course, that doesn't mean that there's no hope for those not chosen for that privilege. Many millions who have died will be resurrected into paradisaical conditions on earth. (Gen 3:19; Rev 7:4, 9, 10; John 5:25, 28-29; Rev 21:3-4)

I know when we die, we will understand alot of things that we don't now.Because in our spiritual bodies we will have 100% of our intellectual capacity, instead of the 10-15% that we now possess in our flesh bodies. Our purpose will become all too apparent when we die. There are no unsolved mysteries in heaven.Beware, murderers, rapists, and thieves judgement day cometh.

It'd sure be nice if our minds continued on.

But I suspect this is wishful thinking.

If the mind could exist without the brain, why do we have brains?
