i have a 500 lb. capacity propane tank for my heater in my livingroom is there an adapter?

to connect a smaller 100lb or 20 lb tank to it?

The 100 pounder should be no problem. You will need the regulator to fit the tank, and then just use the proper compression fittings to match up to the line running to your heater.
