My cat had a lot of problems this year--major surgery in January (he ate plastic), dental surgery this week, asthma flare-ups, plus me becoming a total hypochondriac after his first surgery and rushing him to the vet constantly. I'm very grateful to the vets and especially the vet techs who took such good care of him. (The techs LOVE him and dote on him whenever he comes in.) But on the other hand, vet care is expensive and I feel they've been well compensated for their work. (Vet care is super-expensive.) I was going to buy a few pounds of bakery cookies (about $20)--on principle alone, would you do it?

I think that bringing them cookies would be a nice idea. You don't usually regret doing something nice.

Give them whatever you feel shows them your appreciation. It could even be a card. If you believe that your cat received the best possible care then how much it cost you shouldn't really matter now should it?

It will be nice and hope you will not need them any more ( for your cat) but if you do in the future you will always get the VIP service. :)
