Chloe, here's the only reasonable way to look at this question. If there is even a fraction of a percent chance that it's fake, you better live your life as if you will be here a long time. If you freak out, drop out, sell everything, move to the mountaintop, wait for end, and it never happens, you'll forever be a victim of a major scam. But let's say the world DOES come to an end on Dec 21, 2012. You have lost nothing by preparing for a long future. It will make no difference whatsoever if you expected to live or die once you're dead. If there's nothing you can do about it, than don't do anything! Are you catching my meaning here? I hope you are getting the take home message - forget about 2012, go about your life, assume you'll be here for many decades to come, and prepare accordingly. It was fake I took it to a man that said that it was made out of plastic...darn them form making plastic look like absolutely everything.
