I love grilled cheese made with most firm cheeses. I also like having dill pickles "with" the sandwiches. One of my "things" with food is mixing textures. The sandwich should be hot and soft, while the pickle is cold and firm. It just makes a better eating experience to me. A few potato chips on the side finishes the meal.

Never tried that.......But have you tried Kosher Dill pickles and popcorn.......yum!! I'll try pickles on grilled cheese next time!!

not pickles, i sometimes eat tomato slices with grilled cheese.
