I was just wondering, what do women want these days? What happened to the days of men who were men? Are guys with chest hair, mustaches, beards, rough, and tough, are out?

Most guys that women seem to go ga-ga over look more like women. Shaved bodies, tanning beds, manicures and pedicures, day spas, designer clothes and shopping sprees.

I'm all for being clean and well groomed. But what happened to Ivory soap, speedstick, and a nice cologne?

So girls, Manly Men or Girly Men, what do you want?

Honestly? If I wanted to date something that got manicures, pedicures, made waxing appointments, had highlights or lowlights in their hair, wore thongs and make-up..... I would date a woman! I don't understand the whole "metro" fad, but I am praying that it really is just a fad! There is nothing sexy about a man that is feminine! Not to me anyway!

I guess I'd hafta say the manly guy, my hubby is a ringer for Santa, with the full beard/moustache and tummy., he's a little fuzzy which I like,..he also is a shower/Irish Spring/Right Guard deoderant/ Old Spice Cologne(my fav.)self manicured kinda guy.....I do his feet because he's diabetic and if the nails aren't clipped properly he can run into trouble, besides he needs his feet checked constantly for circulation, boo-boos to avoid a bad medical situation, he takes such good care of me so I try to return that as often as I can..

I've never had a man (i'm young, see..) but-manly men...of course they should be clean and everything...no beards or moustaches (again, I'm looking at young guys here)...and chest hair-OK but not when it bulges out of the shirt....

Inbetween: girly enough to look neat and dress tasteful and manly enough no to spend more time getting ready than me. Someone who's too metro... I don't know... some guys freak me out... also amuse me. I wouldn't be able to respect such a dude...

I don't like a guy that spends more time in the salon than I do. Give me a man that's not afraid to get his hands dirty any day!!
