My teacher is..weird. Strange.
I am 15 yrs old and i am quite shy.
anyway, my teacher keeps being really strange with me. I have a locker at school and he opened it a couple of times and goes through my stuff.. e.g i left my school diary in there, and next thing he comes upto me during break and says "I found your diary.".. i was like "Thanks.." but he also hides my stuff. In my school we have 'workbooks' which is a private book which we write down stuff in and the teacher marks it etc.. well anyway it was in my locker.. i realise its gone, i go to his office after searching the whole school and he says "Oh, i left it in the canteen.." so i go there, its lost. I told him today in lesson that it was lost and he said "speak to me after the lesson." I worked on scrap paper thru the lesson. Anyway at the end i spoke to him and he started shouting at me, I ended up crying because he was shouting so loud. Nobody heard him shouting because it was after the lesson when everybody had left..

After he shouted at me there was like a minute silence and then he asked me to help him tidy up so i helped him put the chairs up on tables etc and then he said "see you on monday". He didnt apologise or anything. I was genuinely frightened because he was shouting so loud. He came so close to me like a metre or something away from me. I just stood there crying and he just kept shouting for about 20 minutes and then said I had to stay 30 mins behind with him every day next week [detention]. I just feel betrayed because it was his fault I lost the book in the first place! Help.

He has been 'hassling' me and moving my stuff etc for around 6 weeks now. i thought he liked me but then he goes and shouts at me so horribly! he didnt even care when i cried and when i turned round to walk out the room he just shouted even louder so in the end i just froze and let him shout at me whether it was inappropriate or not

This is extremely inappropriate behavior. The school can go through your things, if they need to, but not an individual teacher. And why did he take your workbook and bring it to the canteen, let alone leave it there? Also, shouting at you sounds wrong - although you didn't tell us what he was actually shouting about.

Speak to your counselor about this. He sounds very disturbed, and this could escalate to something really nasty. If he IS your counselor, then talk to the head of the department that he works for, or, if you don't feel you can do this, speak to your parents about it. Something needs to be done about it.

He sounds like he's on something to me...
You need to talk to your parents/a teacher you trust.

You could also ask him why he is moving your stuff around and why he is shouting at you, although he may only shout more if you do this.

Why don't you tell your principal i mean the teacher is yelling at you for no reason because he was the one to loose your notebook. You should tell someone immediately because that is extremely inappropriate and he shouldn't treat you in such a manner.

yeah. that's WAY out of line. Tell the principal. tell your parents. You need to do a full court press on this one. He's out of line and exceeding his authority

No, that's not natural. But you may not be the most objective observer of the situation.

I suggest you contact your school counselor, principal, headmaster, or whoever may be able to help you at your school.

This is VERY strange. Your teacher has NO right to rummage through your stuff. Please tell a trusted adult immediately.
