Fred Thompson and Hillary were walking down the street when they
came to a
homeless person. The Republican, Fred Thompson, gave the homeless person
his business card and told him to come to his office for a job. He then
took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

Hillary was very impressed, so when they came to
another homeless person, she decided to help. She walked over to the
homeless person and gave him
directions to the welfare office. She then reached
into Thompson's pocket and got out $20. She kept $15 for her
administrative
fees and gave the homeless person $5.

NOW do you understand the difference?

Yes.
Republicans work and pay taxes.
Democrats either go on Welfare, or get a job with the Government.

I already understood, and agree with certain aspects, except I don't believe ANY politician at the national level would offer a job or money to a homeless person unless it was for a photo op. As to some of the people that responded and claimed that republicans are not charitable, I can only say that my wife operates a non profit food shelf that offers not only food but also many other services. The overwhelming majority of donations come from self-proclaimed conservatives, and we live in a democrat dominated state. It would seem it is the democrats, or at least people that vote for them, are the ones my wife is helping most of the time. And no, I am not quessing, both the contributors to the food shelf and the clients of the food shelf are quilty of discussing politics where I or my wife can overhear or join in.

I think you left out that the homeless person then hired Fred Thompson to sue the local restaurant because their bathroom stall was 1-inch too narrow and violated the Americans with Disability Act.

Yeah, I like that. However, it's impossible; Fred Thompson would probably be more likely to walk with Oprah than with Hillary Clinton ;).

Hmmm....I wonder how many conservatives would even stop and talk to a homeless person, let alone reach into his pocket for anything other than something to use as defense object. And, a card to hire him/her....ha ha ha...his factory is in China!

No, the difference is that Republicans want cheap labor and a large market, so they are against abortion and want the earth to overpopulate so that they have unlimited cheap labor and unlimited consumers.

Democrats want to preserve everyone's standard of living and realize that we are destroying ourselves if we don't manage our growth. Dems embrace science and want to find ways to reduce human overpopulation, pollution and increase efficiency.
