I think the house in ladies in Lavender would be nice.nice view,and the house has character.

Lots of houses but I can't remember the names of the films. For instance the windmill in the series starring Alan Davis or the cottage that Lovejoy lived in ...... in fact anything ancient and rural but not too grand.... bit like myself come to think!

The flat/apartment where Andie McDowell lived in Green Card. It had an indoor greenhouse with a fountain.

Biltmore House in Ashville,NC. It was in a movie with Don Knotts but I can't remember the name of it ( maybe The Private Eye?). It is a beautiful home but no way I could afford it.
